on June 3rd, 1989
Event: NWA/WCW World Wide Wrestling Muta kicks Meadows and Pender to start the match, snapmare to Pender and he punches Meadows. Muta gives Meadows a back kick and then throws Pender out of the ring. Flashing Elbow to Meadows, Pender gets back in the ring but Muta throws Meadows out to even the odds again. Muta punches Pender, then throws Meadows in the corner before hitting the Space Rolling Elbow. Meadows falls out of the ring as Pender grabs Muta from behind. Muta elbows Pender and then delivers a spinning back kick. Cover by Muta and he picks up the three count. Your winner: Great Muta Match Thoughts: This was more punch/kick than Muta's usual squash matches and thus less entertaining. It came across as a lot less structured than the usual matches that Muta had in 1989. Plus no mist, which always makes me a sad panda. Score: 3.0 |
