Match Thoughts: Really basic match, Mutoh hadn't been in CWF for long and was still working his way up/getting to be known by the fans. I hadn't seen Backland before and will probably never see him again, he seems extremely bland and while technically solid not someone I'd ever go out of my way to see. But this was built like an opener and maybe it was, with lots of mat wrestling that felt like they were going through the motions before Mutoh hit his big moves to win the match. Nothing really to see here except for a very early viewing of Mutoh in America. Score: 4.0
