These teams were put together randomly, they weren't usual tag team partners. Windham and Scorpio start things off. Vertical suplex by Windham onto Scorpio but Scorpio comes back with a dropkick and an armdrag. They jockey for position, takedown by Scorpio but Windham returns to his feet and tags in Muta. Scorpio avoids a Muta high kick and they circle each other, waistlock by Muta, reversed by Scorpio and he tags in Pillman. Chops by Pillman, Irish whip, and he delivers a dropkick. Cover, but it gets a two count. Wristlock by Muta, Irish whip by Pillman but Muta hits a shoulderblock. Dropkick by Muta and he hits a side headlock takedown. Pillman gets back to his feet and Muta tags in Windham. Side headlock by Windham and he gets Pillman down to the mat, but Pillman immediately gets out of it. Windham punches Pillman into the corner and the pair trade chops. Windham tags in Muta, kick to the stomach by Muta, Irish whip, but Pillman kicks Muta when he goes for a back bodydrop. Pillman picks up Muta, Irish whip by Muta but Pillman shoulderblocks him down. Pillman goes off the ropes but Muta catches him with a jumping back kick. Muta poses as he is proud of himself, but Pillman slams him into the second turnbuckle. Pillman picks up Muta and makes the tag to Scorpio. Irish whip by Scorpio and he hits a jumping lariat. Cover, but it gets a one count. Scorpio picks up Muta, scoop slam by Scorpio but Muta puts up his knees when he goes for a body splash. Muta tags in Windham, club by Windham, Irish whip, and he nails a lariat. Leg drop by Windham, cover, but it gets a two count. Vertical suplex by Windham, cover, but again it gets two. Windham picks up Scorpio and chops him to the mat, he picks up Scorpio and tags in Muta. Irish whip by Windham and with Muta they deliver a double dropkick. Muta picks up Scorpio, snapmare, and he hits the Flashing Elbow. Ankle lock by Muta, he picks up Scorpio, Irish whip, reversed, and Scorpio delivers a knee. Scoop slam by Scorpio and he hits a somersault leg drop out of the corner for a two count. Muta comes back with a jumping high kick, sending Scorpio to the ramp. Scorpio comes back in the ring with a slingshot 450 Splash, cover, but Windham breaks it up. Scorpio tries to fight off Windham, but Windham plants him with an elevated DDT. Muta then goes up top and nails the moonsault, cover, and he barely gets the three count. Your winners: Great Muta and Barry Windham

Post match: Windham and Pillman leave together since they are friends.

Match Thoughts: Crowd enjoys Muta. As I mentioned up top, this was one of those things where eight tag teams were "randomly" put together with the four winning teams going to the BattleBowl Battle Royal. I put that in quotes because while I've read the first one was legit, I don't know if these teams were actually random. Anyway, Windham and Pillman were tag partners normally but they still slugged it out, since both wanted to go to the Battle Royal. But it was just a quick little tag team match, Muta got his shots in and everyone got a chance to do something in the amount of time that they had. Nothing during the match though showed that the teams didn't normally team together, in fact Windham and Muta got along very well considering they never had teamed before, which was a bit of a surprise. Overall just interesting filler, but the crowd liked it, and it helped set up the main event later. Score: 5.5
