Match Thoughts: Things were going swimmingly until the ending was botched. Finishes are so clean these days its easy to forget back in the day they messed them up quite frequently. The referee literally had to put Victory's shoulder down because he had rolled too far on the German suplex and was having issues. Even better, they replayed it in slow motion in case it wasn't clear the first time what happened. Beyond that it was a pretty basic tag match, as since they had two more matches to go they were a bit limited. I could almost hear someone screaming in the back when Saito started to do the Scorpion Deathlock, considering Sting was in the main event, but it got broken up before he could apply it. The crossbody onto the ramp was cool though since that isn't in Muta's normal moveset. Score: 4.0
