They circle each other to start, tie-up, waistlock takedown by Muta and he applies an arm submission on the mat. Muta applies the cross armbreaker but releases it after a moment and kicks Cruz in the ribs. Another kick to the ribs by Muta, snapmare, and he applies a head scissors onto Cruz. Cattle Mutilation by Muta and he releases the hold so he can kick Cruz again. Irish whip by Muta to the corner and he nails the Space Rolling Elbow. Snapmare by Muta and he applies a cross kneelock. Muta reverts the hold into the Muta Lock, and Cruz is forced to submit. Your winner: Great Muta

Match Thoughts: This was a bit odd as it was a squash match in that Cruz got in no offensive whatsoever, but Muta just did a few submission holds and won with a submission hold that he didn't usually win matches with at the time. The squash match made since as it had been awhile since Muta had one on Saturday Night and it was probably good to show how dominating he could still be. It just wasn't as exciting as some other Muta squashes were, maybe he had a Submissions match that I am unaware of coming up but overall it was pretty mundane. Score: 3.5
